Henrik Vibskov

If you had to categorise Henrik Vibskov's creative output, most would place him somewhere between the lines of fashion and art. Well known for his eponymous fashion label, the 2001 Central Saint Martins graduate also dabbles in fine art and music, drumming for electronic band Trentmøller and exhibits worldwide in museums and galleries. His upcoming exhibition, Ruttkowski;68, presents a collection of new works including 30 little objects each arousing the imagination.

But if you can't make the Ruttkowski;68 in Köln, Germany, and you're dying to get inside the complex mind that is Vibskov's, then Gestalten's latest publication should be your new best friend.

The simply titled Henrik Vibskov is the first comprehensive retrospective of his work as a progressive artist, stage designer, musician and of course, the leading force behind his fashion label. Edited and written by the Danish polymath himself, the book provides personal insight into the Vibskov World. For the young creatives out there, watch and learn.

Henrik Vibskov is available to buy in most art bookshops and online. The exhibition Ruttkowski;68 - Vibskovski;72 is open until 20 May 2012.
