Test Presents 'Rita, Sue and Bob Too' by Peter Jensen Culture
Fashion film club Test Presents, started by Test Mag, has been gaining a cult following in London town during the past year. The monthly art house film night is held in the luxurious Bethnal Green Town Hall Hotel, with leading thinkers from the fashion industry introducing and screening their film of choice. Past guest presenters include Richard Nicoll, Julie Verhoeven, Roksanda Ilincic, Julie Verhoeven and Danielle Scutt (pictured).
This month, the club previews Alan Clarke's 1986 British comedy-drama Rita, Sue and Bob Too, introduced by Danish-born Peter Jensen, known for his humourous and playful mens and womenswear. Peter will be discussing the film's influence on his work and his decision to move to the UK from his native Denmark at the screening with the Test Presents.
Jensen says, "I don't think I have ever laughed so much in my life. It had a profound effect on my life as it was really the final decision for me to move and live in England,"
